Water and Amalgamation Lobby Group Meeting

On the 11th of November 2025 Teresa Howland Homan hosted a community meeting between 7pm and 9pm to introduce those in attendance to the intention to form a lobby group to oppose Water Meters in Upper Hutt, and the Amalgamation of councils in the Wellington Region.

Here is some of the information which was provided on the night from some of the community .

Hutt City council are getting to see the Water foundation documents before Upper Hutt.. They will be discussing this on the 20th November 2025. Here are the Hutt City agenda documents which include the water documents to have a look at if you wish too..

Anyone can speak at the Hutt City meeting if they choose to submit.
